Taliah Gipson was born in the small town of Hobbs, NM. The youngest of four children, Taliah was always a bit different. Quiet in her own right, but unique in her own skin. She began writing during her teen years, but didn't take note of her talent until losing a sister to cancer in 2000. Soon after her sister's death, Taliah began writing. What began as musical therapy, has now blossomed into a true passion. "I can't imagine a life without music and this gift of writing that was given to me," Taliah says.
Taliah is currently working with independent artists who also desire to enter the music industry. In 2010, she auditioned for a songwriting casting. Taliah was ultimately not cast, but says that the experience sparked a deeper drive inside of her. "I want this more than ever!" Taliah says of her career in the music industry. Though her ultimate goal is to write for mainstream artists, she can't deny her desire to record her own self-written album.
You can find Taliah working on her album at Digiworld Entertainment and Productions in the never sleeping city of Las Vegas. This is a journey of a lifetime for this young, inspirational artist. She hopes that others will experience this musical roadtrip with her. Taliah cannot wait for her moment to come! She believes it's closer than she knows and will work hard to see her dreams develop into reality. " I feel like my time is here! Songs are being recorded and I'm on my way."
